Brief Introduction:
Zhang Lei, a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Microelectronics and Communication Engineering, Chongqing University, serves as the Director of the Chongqing Key Laboratory of "Biological Perception and Multimodal Intelligent Information Processing" and leads the "Visual Intelligence and Learning" research team at Chongqing University. He has been recognized as a high-level young national talent, selected for the third cohort of the Hong Kong Scholars Program by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, and is a recipient of the Chongqing Distinguished Young Scientists Fund and the Chongqing High-Level Talent Special Support Program. Additionally, he has been listed in both the "Career-Long Scientific Impact" and "Annual Scientific Impact" rankings of the World's Top 2% Scientists released by Stanford University.

Prof. Huiyu Zhou

Brief Introduction:
Prof. Huiyu Zhou received a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Radio Technology from Huazhong University of Science and Technology of China and a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from University of Dundee of United Kingdom, respectively. He was awarded a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Computer Vision from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, United Kingdom, supervised by Professors Patrick Green (Psychology) and Andrew Wallace (Computer Engineering).
Prof. Zhou heads the AI and Machine Learning Group and leads the Biomedical Image Processing Lab (BIPL) at University of Leicester. He was PGR Director of CMS (2022-2025), Director of MSc Programme (2018-2019) and Coordinator of MSc Distance Learning at Informatics (2018-2022), and currently is Deputy Director of Research Centre for Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics and Modelling (AIDAM), Member of the Executive Group of Apollo-Leicester Centre for Digital Health and Precision Medicine (CDHPM). Prior to this appointment, he worked as Reader (2018-2020) at University of Leicester, and Lecturer (2012-2017) at the School of Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Queen's University Belfast (QUB). He was a visiting scholar of QUB during 2018-2020.

Prof. Lu Leng

Brief Introduction:
Prof. Leng Received his Ph.D degree from Southwest Jiaotong University, Chengdu, P. R. China, in 2012. He performed his postdoctoral research at Yonsei University, Seoul, South Korea, and Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Nanjing, P. R. China. He was a visiting scholar at West Virginia University, USA, and Yonsei University, South Korea. Currently, he is a full professor, the dean of Institute of Computer Vision, and the office director of Key Laboratory of Jiangxi Province for Image Processing and Pattern Recognition at Nanchang Hangkong University.Prof. Leng has published more than 100 international journal and conference papers, including about 70 SCI papers and three highly cited papers. He has been granted several scholarships and funding projects, including six projects supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC). He serves as a reviewer of more than 100 international journals and conferences. His research interests include computer vision, biometric template protection and biometric recognition. Prof. Leng is an outstanding representative of "Innovation Talent" of Jiangxi Enterprise in "Science and Technology China", received "Jiangxi Youth May Fourth Medal", "Jiangxi Hundred-Thousand-Ten-thousand Talent Project", "Jiangxi Voyage Project", etc.

Prof. Jianping Gou

Brief Introduction:
Jianping Gou received the Ph.D. degree in computer science from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Chengdu, China, in 2012. He was a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow with The University of Sydney. Now, he is currently a professor and doctoral Supervisor in College of Computer and Information Science, College of Software, Southwest University, Chongqing, China. His current research interests are artificial intelligence, pattern recognition and machine learning. His research has resulted in more than 160 publications on top-tier journals and conferences. He served as a Section Editor of Recent Advances in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, an Associate Editor of Cognitive Robotics, and Editorial Board of Mathematics. He is also a Senior member of IEEE, a Senior member of both CCF, and a Senior member of CSIG.

Prof. Fengming Du

Brief Introduction:
Fengming Du is currently a professor and doctoral supervisor at Dalian Maritime University, having received his Ph.D. from Dalian University of Technology. He has received numerous honors, such as the Liaoning Province "Hundred, Thousand, and Ten Thousand Talents" award and the Dalian Youth Science and Technology Star, and serves as an editor for journals including Lubricants and Coatings. Dr. Du has presided over multiple scientific research projects, including those funded by the State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defence, the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, and key projects of the Liaoning Provincial Natural Science Foundation. He has published over 70 academic papers, with his research covering areas such as the dynamics of floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) units, laser cladding coatings, and the mechanical behavior of continuous casting. Additionally, he holds several patents, including technologies for RGBD underwater salient object detection and lubrication testing machines. As a recipient of the Liaoning Provincial Natural Science Academic Achievement Award and a technical review expert for multiple panels, Dr. Du possesses extensive experience and has made outstanding contributions to the fields of material design and intelligent detection.
